It's a challenge to take photos when the light is going...although of course, we do have beautiful sunsets. I wanted to try something different. Pictures of the Villages after the sunsets are gone. Hope you like these:

actually, I didn't use a tripod, but I did lean against stuff to take the photos. I have a tripod, but I keep forgetting to bring it with me.

I can't say enough about your remarkable ability to capture the beauty of The Villages at night.

The pictures you have posted go beyond photographs. They are works of art.

Thank you so much for sharing them.

I think this was just another covert effort to show how much your loving the Villages now that you're a full timer and punishing us wanna be's:a20:

I love the coppery, metallic texture in the photos. Really unique and beautiful.

I was thinking the same thing as jebartle. Do you have them available in large giclee (sp?) form? I mean LARGE. I would jump at the chance to own one.

You would be very successful selling them at an art show too.

I really like The Lighthouse Light picture as it is stunniningly beautiful

Will this be made available on your your website for purchase? I have a very large empty picture frame that I would like to have a photo or photos for, (depending on size of photo). It will keep reminding me of how beautiful TV is.

I am in Bridgeport CT and would like to be constantly reminded of my desire to move the TV although it rarely ever leaves my thoughts.

Citizens Bank seems to publish a calendar each year with scenes from The Villages.

I think your pictures would be a beautiful addition to the 2011 calendar. They are really lovely.

I just wanted other members to know that I purchased an 11" by 17 ' photo of the Lighthouse Lights and it is stunningly beautiful mounted in a picure frame that hangs in my bedroom. Although I am not in TV yet, it helps to keep the dream alive as I look at it.

It was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone to do business with tudacee.

Great work. :BigApplause: :BigApplause: :BigApplause:

I'd love to have one to remind us of our winter home when we're in Canada during the summer months. Where did you purchase it? From a website?

Wow, these photos seemed to have taken on a life of their own. Thank you for all the wonderful comments, including those recent ones in April! You've all made my day.

2BNTV - I'm so happy that you are enjoying your print. I bet one day we'll meet in The Villages when we're both full time there. (I'm chomping at the bit and keep obsessing on it!)

Barefoot and others who asked, I usually sell my prints on Redbubble. I know from experience that they do such a great job of the printing (it's important...the printing, trust me). I have a special section for The Villages plus scenes are also scattered among the other sets. If there is something special you want done, like a glicee, pm me.

Here is the link:
http://deerphotoarts.redbubble.com/works

Even if you don't buy, please browse, I love to know that people enjoy my work (the photographer's vanity, :ho: )

Also, some one asked what kind of camera...a Nikon D-300...an older model than what they have out now.
