Please.....Hallmark channel.....enough with the Christmas movies! The whole month of July, and then in Oct thru Jan 1 again! I know people love them, and I do too, but enough is enough already.

There are other channels to watch if you truly are not in the mood for Christmas movies. I love 'em so no complaints from me.

I can’t watch Christmas movies in July when it’s 95+ outside.
I only wish people and life were really as nice as in their movies. :)

They are making Christmas commercials now. It would be hard to get in the mood.

Christmas in July has become a big thing. Been doing it for years in campgrounds etc. Hallmarks best ratings are with Christmas movies so they are going to play them as much as possible. I love watching them but they are not playing the best ones. Anyway it is August so you should be set until Halloween.

Here’s the plot of the next Hallmark Christmas Movie you watch.
Beautiful and kind hearted girl goes back to hometown for a week. Her fiancé stays behind because he has no interest in her hometown or the people there. During her visit she runs into an old classmate who is kind hearted, loves dogs and kids, and is recently widowed. She has a problem trying to organize a reunion and the kind hearted old classmate bails her out. Her fiancé shows up unannounced and gets frustrated with her struggles. She falls in love with the kind hearted former classmate and her fiancé leaves in anger as she and the classmate and his young child and golden retriever realize that they were always meant for each other. You’re welcome!

My wish is for Hallmark to change up the script from time to time. It’s the same script over and over again. After a third of the movie you can predict the ending without ever seeing it. Boring! How about a realistic script and a different ending occasionally?

If anybody is interested, Business Wars did a Podcast series on the economics of "Christmas" Movies. It covered Hallmark and the newer competition from Lifetime and Netflix. They try to keep costs low.
