I'm sick of hearing about death it's kind of a definitive state either your dead or about dead?

This report does not restore any of my recently lost confidence in the CDC. Did they really say, "about 17" and "about 4"? Don't they know?

Exactly my thoughts ! Really now, about ---- cases, about ---- deaths, how can you have "about" 4 deaths, or "about" 12 deaths ? Does that mean one or more are only "partly" dead ? Is that like being "slightly pregnant" ? ! You'd think by now, with all the shots and all the boosting going on in this community, there would never be another death ! (FROM covid that is)

I don't think cases reporting can be adequate nowadays since we all have at home rapid tests readily available. Everyone I know that got the latest strain this summer never reported it, there was nowhere to report it! Maybe we should stop talking about it?

I believe the reported numbers are significantly low. My wife and I tested positive (home test) within the last 6 weeks and “health officials” never learned of it. Just a bad cold equivalent, but still multiple positive tests.

I was told by an immediate care center nurse even though I home tested and was negative for Covid , the tests kits are 50% reliable . So I was retested by them and also negative. Didn’t our government spend billions on these home tests kits ?

We were told that the emergency rooms are using the same test as the home test….who knows
Must test fail because of the person doing the test not the test it’s self

Thanks for posting. There seems to be an uptick over what there was a couple months ago.

Because some of them died with covid instead of from covid. But it adds to the numbers and makes them happy

I would say that there might be an uptick as both my wife and I have it and still test positive (home test) for it today although feeling much better. Several friend also currently have it in the Villages. For us, it was like a bad cold. Thought I would never get it. Well, it is still out there to get.
