It is important to have diversified plants as in NATURE. What we insist on everyone same grass, same trees etc disease, too much or too little water, heat etc tears through a neighborhood. An ex-Northerner. Beautiful, huge, formerly common Chestnut trees are rare if not gone. Ash trees also formerly common are now dead due to an imported insect. I used to have dogwood trees. When in bloom people would stop by just to see them. They were killed by a fungus.
I spent some serious money on replacements that were supposed to be disease resistant and they died.

If, you chose to fight nature, it is a lot of work. You will blink. Go on a trip etc and discover when you were not looking you lost.

Point if there is any issue with some plant, any plant replace it with something else.
