Nice picture. Those little buggers like to hang out in the woods next to the golf cart parking/turnaround area by the 13th green at Tierra Del Sol. When everyone goes to the green to putt out, they riffle through the golf carts looking for snacks. I recently watched one run away with half of my turkey sandwich and another with a bag of nuts. Next time the food will be in the cooler at that hole. Hope they enjoyed the snack : )

Great shot! Lots of those squirrels in Marsh Bend around the Hogeye Preserve and Edna's. They are bigger than a usual squirrel-first time I saw one running I thought it was someone's pet ferret or a mongoose-I didn't think we had any of those around here. Thanks!

Your comment reminded me of the time my grandma from Nebraska was visiting us in SoCal back in the 60s. My dad always took visiting relatives to see the movie star homes in BelAir and Beverly Hills. We were driving along on one of the hilly streets amongst the mansions when we came upon Granny Clampett and a whole TV crew shooting a scene for The Beverly Hillbillies. When she saw my grandma in the car she ran over, reached inside, and shook her hand vigorously totally in character. We were all so excited, especially my grandma. It was the highlight of her visit with us that summer.
