Hello

I am seriously considering purchasing a 2023 STAR Sirius Golf Cart and would like feedback from current owners. I have not driven one yet, but have a 24 hour test drive scheduled for the first week of September. In reviewing the cart on the floor, I find setting the brake to be aggravating. They are going to adjust it before the test drive but a definite compromise from walk away brakes. Other minor observations is the storage is a little less than golfers like and not convinced that the solid vented windshield is the way to go, but not in love with their split windshield.

Please keep responses on topic, let’s not make this electric vs. gas, or compare it to other brands.

They have not had best reviews here.
Yamaha for gas and Club Car for electric has always been the best choice.

I own a Star.....as long as the key is on you have walk away brakes. I also had trouble with setting the brake with the key off but they have adjusted so it's now ok. As long as you deal with Bob for service you should be satisfied. The manufacturer does not provide their dealer with great support but that could be a COVID/Supply Chain/employee issue. This is my second Star since 2015. I am a golfer so not sure what storage you need, plenty for me plus the front storage and cooler make it great for golf. If you have any other questions send me a PM.

Agree with you on the brakes. I felt that a person had to really push hard to lock up this brake and you almost have to engage it every time. Rode in this cart. It is very quick and accerates much faster than a gas cart and no hesitation. Be careful about the seats, especially if you are a golfer. I am tall and it is annoying to get in and out of this cart due to the bar on the seat.

Brake issues on a large majority of golf cars is because they are adjusted wrong. Very common.

You can remove that plastic bar. 4 screws.
