Playtime with other female Maltese

I have a seven year-old Maltese named Emmie (weighs 6 #s) and I would like to find another female for play dates. I would love to get another Maltese but I live alone so it would be a bit much. I can't take Emmie to dog parks because she doesn't like grass and won't move.
