Recommendations for hardscaping

Im interested in hard scaping my property in March Bend. I'd prefer to minimize or eliminate grass and plantings. Has anyone used a company they particularly like? How was the approval process?

You need to check if it is approved before you do it. My neighbor had to remove the rock and put the grass back under threat of fine.

As noted above you will need ARC approval, DO NOT relay on having the contractor do, I made the mistake, found out partway through the project, I was able to get approval. The process is easy, get the form, fill it out, No cost, and typiclly 2 weeks for a reply, and as i recall good for 6 months.
Also, you did not mention the type of house, so some of the replies may be based on an assumed type of house (like a villa). The contractor we used was very good, but I am not sure still in business.

Escapes Landscaping did a wonderful job on my small front yard. 2 years later, and everything is still looking great, and I haven't had to trim anything yet.

from our site here, i found these guys. Landscaping - Landscape Design - The Villages - Mansfield Landscaping (https://www.mansfieldlandscapingllc.com/)
they did an impressive job, all in 1 day. replanted a tree, did wall scaping, stone & plants.
they cost a tad more, but am more than pleased. a good, hardworking, friendly company
