It's been a long wait for my new golf car. Ordered in May for Sept delivery, then pushed back to Nov.
Pretty sure I'm locked in at16k, but that's high enough. Don't want anything pushing it to 17, including taxes.

Golf cart accessibility is why I live here, with-out that I'd live someplace else.

Number one on my list was how well manicured TV is, but a close second was #GolfCartLife

I owned a golf cart in TV before I owned a home. Glad I bought it when I did. Yamaha Quiet-Tech, got all the necessities, but no real fancy upgrades (wish I'd bought better seats than the standard seats that came with it), off campus, brand-spanking new for around 10K, in February of '19.
Last year I picked up a 2006 electric Club Car for $1500, and put a new set of batteries and some better lights on it. I thought I'd like it better than the gas Yamaha, but I don't. But it's a handy cart to have for company.
DW does not really enjoy driving the carts, for a variety of reasons, but if she decides to embrace it, she can have either one she wants. I'd be happy in either.

You will pay sales tax on that new golf cart. Tax on a $16k cart will be north of $1100.00. So much for keeping it under $17k!

I wonder which county is no longer part of The Villages.
