Why not call as suggested??

Because it would be useful information for all of us. What is this anyway?

What are your responsibilities should you hold this office

The Board of Supervisors is basically the local government for the Districts.

You can get a better idea of the responsibilities by:
- Attending a CDD Orientation on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays
- Attending the Resident Academy (next one scheduled for Oct 17)
- Looking at the budget for the District to see the things the Supervisors are involved with
- Looking at the information under any of the districts on districtgov.org
- Looking at the Agenda items for any of the districts on districtgov.org to see what has been discussed
- Attending any (or several) CDD meetings, even meetings for CDDs other than your own

The District government(s) actually run The Villages. The individual districts use the Center Districts for operations and management to ensure uniformity throughput The Villages. Your District government is made up of your elected representatives. Learn the facts and vote responsibly. Consider the previous recommended District Programs. The simplest program is held weekly at VCDD main office in Lake Sumter Landing. Call (352) 753-4508 for details or visit the District website.at Village Community Development Districts (http://www.Districtgov.org).
