A general warning to all Senior Villagers do not sign contracts with these “ Nice guy” home repair contractors. They come out like city rats to take advantage of Hurricane victims! NEVER GIVE THEM MONEY IN ADVANCE… Stick with established and locally recommended companies.. Out of state plates on their pickup trucks are your first sign of a Scammer , Take pictures of these people and their vehicles

I would never give any contractor money in advance. It has nothing to do with a hurricane or out-of-town contractors.

You must be alert all the time just as many local scammers as out of state.
