Ours has been down most of the day here in Gilchrist. TV and landline are fine. Made it through Ian and now 3 days later we have a problem.

We were intermittent from around 10:00 to 11:00 this morning but haven’t had any issues since. We’re south of 44.

Around 10 or 11 this morning we had a short outage. Has been fine since. North of 466 near Savannah Center.

We had a couple of outages - unplugged/reset system and came back each time.

Internet update- outage started yesterday morning around 10:00 and it’s still out. All TV boxes including Genie work fine including streaming services. Landline also okay. App and phone call end with message that I have an outage. Guess I don’t understand how system works since I thought streaming and genie work through Wi-Fi. Oh well.

There've intermittent outages...2 to 3 per day...for the past couple of days. Last a few seconds and then it comes back up. Probably not a surprise, a lot of repair and cleaning work going on.

Mine has been going down periodically starting Wednesday. I need to restart the modem each time to get it to come back up.

We have been with Spectrum for Internet services for 10 years. I can count on less than one hand the problems encountered over that time. During Hurricane Ian we had one surge and Spectrum was back online in less than 5 minutes. Their Customer Service is great. I highly recommend them.

I have noticed three times since the storm when I have not been able to reach the internet. I did not reboot my modem, I just waited and in about 10 minutes things came back to normal.

Reposting from a topic from 3 days ago. The same applies for today. It's all due to damaged infrastructure from the hurricane. Comcast does't "produce" it's own internet. The data comes off of the national backbone through WIRES into Comcast data centers then out on WIRES to local areas. Had a few short outages today as well as some cable signal issues. If you log into your account, you will likely see a "we are aware of outages in your area ....." message. If you have a 3rd party cable modem you can likely even see your incoming signal sometimes drop off.
Edit: rebooting your modem when it's a data issue doesn't matter unless it's just a coincidence. There can be plenty of signal but no data.
This was posted over the past weekend but remains the same and may for some time.
Comcast's FL data centers are located somewhere south of Tampa as well as near Miami and Tallahassee. This was why service was very spotty the past couple days. If your service didn't intermittently go down it was likely you weren't using it when it did. I get notified when internet is down for more than 30-45 seconds. Over the last few days it was out numerous times. Today, as of 10PM, was the first 100% uptime day since the storm. How about the other ~20% of Florida who have no service and those with no homes to get service? I guess we tend to be a bit spoiled. ;)

"Genie" (if that is what TV box you have) are DirecTV satellite service DVR receivers and have nothing to do with the internet. If your internet is down your streaming services can't possibly work unless DirecTV is providing it via satellite which they used to do years ago when I was working for them. If you can stream OVER THE INTERNET (not through DirecTV satellites) your internet will work which would mean you have a computer or wifi issue. Best to shut down computer, cable modem then restart (modem first)

Nope. Checked on xfinity app and was to be fixed by 5:55 PM, but now they’re saying tomorrow morning

Everything out since 3 pm. Says back around midnight. Report it through the app. It told me no outages in area when reported. Service has been awful for a week. Demand a bill credit,

same here, i'm lucky to get on @ all in McClure. i heard the same msg re: not being fixed until tmrw am, but is up now. will prob go out again soon

Everyone in the Historic Section is Hysterical about no Xfinity. I did hate them at one point and swore I would never go back to them but really had no other choice. Well now I do have a choice and saw with my own eyes how it worked just last week.
I don't mind the monthly charge for StarLinkster but the purchase price is just nuts. I think I'll live thru the Xfinity thing until the end of October and if the don't square it away then so long again. Hello New Twitter Boss.

Ours has been wonky off/on for a couple of weeks (near LSL). First outage today said it would be repaired @ 5:50pm, then almost immediately after an update to a 2:20am repair time - they both came back on (TV and internet). We have the lowest Verizon data plan and are never close to maxing out, but if this X-Finity thing is going to be regular and I need to keep using my cell's 'hotspot' more - may have to revisit that also.

I would like to believe it is so. Have been very satisfied with Xfinity up until the storm hit. I am willing to hang in there for the duration. I am both frustrated with the outages and my own reliance on it all.
