Hello fellow Snowbirds, I just bought in TV and my wife and I will now snowbird for the winter. I am fortunate enough to work remote but my wife is a bartender so cannot. I was looking for any advice on winter or remote jobs my wife may be able to get. I am fairly confident she could get a waitress job if needed, but unsure on the income she would get. She’s also looking for online/remote work possibilities. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Yep I assumed that TV increases staff for the winter with the influx of people. What are “the better” restaurants?

This is one of the premier restaurant operators in The Villages. Might want to check them out. They currently have 8 locations with a ninth opening soon. FMK Restaurants (https://www.fmkrestaurants.com/)
Also check out The Villages website under employment.
You could also just walk the squares and inquire directly at the restaurants and bars.

With family member in the restaurant industry they tell me that more money is made in restaurants with quicker turn overs. My niece has worked in several different scale restaurants for years and made the most money at a Red Robin.

Almost every business here has a help wanted sign, no problem getting a job here.

I think, once all the snowbirds start coming down finding a bartender job would not be difficult. Many are seasonal in your favor.
