Community Alert!
On 10/25/2022 at approximately 0745 hrs, The Sumter County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for service regarding a female who advised she had been pulled over near Kenny Dixon sports complex a park after she dropped her child off at school. The complainant advised the subject that pulled her over was a black male, driving a dark colored sports car, possibly a Ford Mustang and that the vehicle had lights and a siren. When the subject approached her car, she advised that he was wearing dark sweatpants and a COVID mask. The subject asked her for her driver's license and when she complied, he took a picture of the drivers license and told her that someone would be calling her and then the subject left. No additional identifying information was provided nor are there any additional details available in this incident.

The whole thing seems fishy. I am not a liberal BUT, black, he must be a criminal is a sad assumption. Motive why would anyone pose as a police officer, pull over a person and NOT....
We've all seen those movies.

Seems odd too but I assume the officers who answered the woman's call interviewed her to see if something else was going on here.
