Is this a tank type water heater and how old is it? Why do you want to flush it out? Any plumber can open the drain valve and drain the tank. But, the drain valve is so small that you won't get a lot of flushing action, so much of the sediment will be left in the tank. But, if you really want to do it, I would suggest Mike Scott plumbing or Village Plumber.
If you do hire a plumber, you may want them to test the relief valve, and the expansion tank. It you don't have an expansion tank, you should have them install one.

Those are supposed to be "descaled" annually. Any plumber should be able to do it for you.

They sell kits on Amazon to do it yourself and there are youtube instruction videos. The heaters are already set up for the flushing process so there is no plumbing involved. You need the flush kit and 3 gallons of white vinegar and you are all set.

If you have a filter and softener installed before the heater don't worry about it. If not call any 2 or 3 reputable plumbers for a quote

I was always told to open the valve at the bottom of tank & drain 2 to 4 gal. or of it every 6 months to a yr. Why pay a plumber to turn a valve! This will get some the sediment out, sediment settles in the bottom of the tank.

He has a tankless heater. They recommend annual descaling.

Thank you but he didn’t say that in his comment, a little more work for a TANKLESS water heater. That’s what I have too. A Tankless! Personally I wouldn’t buy another house with a Tankless Water Heater. Don’t like them at all. But that’s just me! But thanks for helping this guy out determining that for me.
