Can you get to Lowes by golf cart? If so how.

Yes. Cross the cart bridge to the Historic side, follow the street North. After the street curves right, watch for a cart path on the left side of the street. From there just follow the cart trail, some areas are dirt paths. You will probably see other carts going that direction that might help if you get lost.

I believe the concrete path between the houses to the med building parking lot is before the road curves to the right - it is about 6 or 7 houses beyond the Boone Ct Stop sign and a bit hard top spot so go slow so you don't pass it.

There isn't a "trail" or "path" in the parking lots, just asphalt parking areas. Go north in the lots and stay in the back lots by the TV houses. When you get to where to Asphalt ends at the farthest you can go north in the parking lots you will see a path in the sand continuing to Lowe's.

If you want to go to Aldi and or Wal-Mart, follow the roadway north and west to Aldi. There is another sand path starting in the northeast corner of the Aldi parking lot that goes to Wal-Mart.

There are usually a half dozen or so carts traveling on the "trail" - watch for a cart and if it going in the direction you want to go follow it.

Just to add, you will be traveling over private property.

Lowe's parking lot, Beall's parking lot, Aldi's parking lot, Wal-Mart parking lot, medical offices parking lots, 2 unimproved areas not fenced in. All private property. All traversed by hundreds of shoppers in golf carts and a few on bikes or walking each day.

This is a first time tripper to Wal-Mart. I'm only saying the unimproved dirt areas are private property. Don't really care if hundreds of people are using.....it is still private property.

I do wonder, after X years of this practice, why it is still allowed. I would guess that these businesses don't mind the traffic since it brings $ in.

Russ, if I remember correctly, that Walmart has a small parking area marked "Motorcycles and Golf Carts." I guess they don't mind the golf cart traffic.

They don't mind the cart traffic but I think those spaces are meant for the development located directly in back of Walmart. They have built a specific multimodal gate for their residents to access Walmart.

Make that two gates - one on each side of Wal-Mart.

There are parking slots specifically marked for golf carts in the Lowes parking lot.
