I used to be the guy who would be on your rear bumper if you were going too slowly (for me). I would then start getting stressed and pass as soon as I could and not always at the safest time. Now I find the roles reversed. I generally travel the posted speed limit and it seems there is always someone on my rear bumper. I must confess that calmness comes over me as I gently engage my windshield washers and then look in my review mirror and see the offending driver behind me turn on their wipers. As I lock my cruise control at the posted speed limit I sit tight and wait. The driver behind usually passes as soon as he can and not always at the safest time then, as he passes, I smile and wonder, when did this happen?

I know what you're saying exactly. I spent years pushing around a patrol car where I always had to be in a hurry. Then when I was off duty every trip I took had to be non-stop, hurry, hurry, hurry. Now, its the same as you, cruise control, stop at rest stops, grab some food, I'll get there when I get there. I set my cruise at no more than 10 over the limit as that doesn't really attract the attention of the CHP and I watch the angry people pass me...

As long as your not hanging out in the fast lane, I don`t see a problem.
