We inherited a collection of commemorative coins. Anyone have experience with them that could help us understand if they have any value? Or know of any reputable dealers that could help us understand what to do with them?

I got rid of all of mine years ago for the silver content, took a loss. You can try an internet search, I am sure there will one or more websites for these types of coins. Mine were all Franklin mint. In any case i would not go any lower than the value of the silver content.

Bobs Coins and Jewelry – Serving Central Florida and The Villages (https://bobscoinsandjewelry.com/)

These folks are knowledgeable, very helpful, and fair. We have been there as recently as two weeks ago. The are located in Summerfield, just north of The Villages.

Commemorative coins I am reading that as stuff sold by companies such as Franklin Mint. The bad news is they are sold for SCRAP value. You should research the ones you have. There are coins given out at historical events that may have more value.. Easy to research on line.
