Anyone have the name of someone who takes in ironing? Have a friend of a friend who really needs some help catching up.

Ironing? What's that?

Don't ask me -- it's not in my repertoire of things I can/will/want to do.

Isn't that something they used to do back in the Iron Age?

I imagine you can take the (sheets, tablecloths?) to a professional cleaner and have them laundered and ironed. Have no idea what it costs $$$$!)

Being an optimist, I wait for the ironing fairy to appear and do all of mine while I am sleeping. I iron a few pieces weekly, but I leave the bulk for her (or him )to do when she finally gets here. It hasn't happened yet but I still hope...and I know Santa is coming also. Soon.

Is this interesting... I told a few g'friends that I love to iron, I iron ALL my pillowcases, and my sheets get starched and ironed at the cleaners. I even told facebook friends that I was thinking of starting a business called, The Iron Maiden... and take in ironing... what do you think, would I have enough business from you guys??? Maybe I would even advertise on TOTV? Let me know what you think????

So, should I give my friend your name and phone number, Kathie? She really is desperate to find someone.

Pretty funny as I am also looking for someone who may want to iron. I used to iron everything so wrinkle free doesn't do it for me but now I am so behind I would love to drop it off and pick it up...I will never catch up.
