Can anyone recommend someone for outside stone work (accent walls, landscaping beds etc.)?

If you have a website for them so I can view their portfolio that would be the best.

Thanks!
Russ

Nobody has a serious response?

Hasn't anyone done enhanced landscaping with some accents walls?

Russ, Perhaps nobody wants to refer a landscaper as a lot of people that have also stated on this site that they would not do that again. I have never recommended him on this site but I have to my neighbors and friends that asked who did our landscaping. I know of three people that would give him a very good reference. The landscaper we used does not have a website. But after he did our house I know he did my neigbors accross the street the next week and the person behind my other neigbor the third week. I am sure he got about 5 others within two blocks of us as we had people stopping to ask who is landscaping our yard all day for four days that saw the work he was doing on our house. He does not advertise or even have a sign on his truck. He stated he had a hard enough time keeping up with just word of mouth advertising from previous customers. We had some friends of ours that came over when they came back for the winter about two months after it was done, and they also hired him the next week to redo their front yard and back patio. I will send you a P.M. with a few before and after shots in case this is the kind of work you are looking for. Good luck on your landscape project.

My bad George - I didn't mean to insult you. The comment was very funny you should put it back. I have made many, many non serious remarks myself.

I was just trying to bump the thread to get some recommendations.

Russ, we just had some landscaping done which included three stone walls. The Village Palms on 466 near Rolling Acres did it. They were wonderful, very professional, neat, right on time and left no mess when they were done. I would give them a very high score. They have computer imaging so you can see what your landscaping will look like befor you make a decision.

Thanks Russ! Sometimes my sense of humor is misunderstood for sarcasm and I have been working on correcting that since I was about 17! Sometimes my mouth and fingers move faster then my brain.
I'm glad that you're not upset. I always enjoy reading what you post.

Good luck on your quest of finding a good landscaper.

Mansfield Landscaping has a fairly nice website that you can view. I have seen several of the walls they constructed and they looked very nice.

We went out and checked Mansfield. We were very impressed with the price and the quality of the plants at this particular nursery. We went to Fairfield Farms, Terra Scapes, and few other of the local nurseries but Mansfield had the best prices and their plants were the healthiest. Apparently they do a lot of work in TV. We are considering having them plant some larger trees in our yard and perhaps some stonework for some raised beds. We were not overly impressed with the gentleman who helped us at the lot, but perhaps that is because he was too impressed with himself (it still won't deter us from using them).

oops...didn't realize this thread was so old!

We used Terrascape. Very knowledgeable staff. Bonnie and Andreas are wonderful and very creative! They set us up with colorful, cold hearty plants a year ago and everything still looks great.
