Quantum internet

Hello, I'm new to the villages and was wondering if anyone can comment on Quantum fiber internet service. I'm considering this service for the home I'm buying.

We have had Quantum for quite awhile now and very pleased with it. Then again, anything is better than Comcast

Very satisfied we have 200mbps service @$30 monthly strictly stream tv 2 laptops 1 tablet no buffering when using internet and streaming apps. Use our own modem. We have had maybe 2 outages in 3 years all resolved quickly.

I have the 1GB Quantum Fiber service. Zero issues, has worked fantastic since installation. I had Xfinity prior to Quantum, and had no issue with them either. Xfinity likes to play games with pricing - low price for a year, then bumps up the cost. Quantum simply gives you a fixed price that includes all taxes and fees.

Not available at all in my area of the Villages. I wouldn't get it anyway though. I rely on wifi when I visit my family, and piggyback on their Xfinity service with my own password from my own account. I can do that anywhere in the country, because Xfinity has thousands of hotspots nationwide. Quantum is only in limited parts of Florida, period.
