Yesterday I went through several of the new Villas being built at Edgewater Bungalows beside The Waterfront INN on Lake Sumter. They have many changes over the regular villas that have been built in the past. It is my understanding that these will be used a rental & lifestyle preview units by The Villages.
Below are some of the changes that stood out to me.
1. Many have 2 car garages my guess is about 30 to 40 percent have 2 car garages.
2. All that I saw had front porches.
3. All are stucco with stone half way up on the fronts. Looks great!
4. Several have pools with a great view of Lake Sumter Landing and Lake. One of these had a Summer Kitchen. That one also has the best view of the lake and town.
5. There are many with a new floorplan which is a revised version of the Stoneybrook and Anna Maria only the Lani has been moved and runs along the back of the villa and the living room has been widened to where the lani was on the previous models. The living room is very large and they have the double wide opening at the sliding glass doors. Most of these look out at Lake Sumter with a great view.
5. They have been trimed outside like the Creekside Cabanas across the street.
Now the next question is this a preview of what will be built in the future perhaps South of 466A? Who knows? But if you get a chance to drop by and do a walk through it is interesting.
