Franco Harris dies days short of the 50th anniversary of the immaculate reception.
On September 6, 2022 the Steelers announced that they will retire his famous #32 on December 24, 2022.

Not only a great football player but most importantly a great man. He will be missed by all of his fans
I noticed that when he scored, he accepted the congratulations from the fans and teammates without any of the posturing, dancing and silliness so common in the players of today when they score, even when they make a first down. Look at me, look at me! mentality.
