Hello!
I am interested in finding out more about becoming a Villages Sales Agent. Is anyone familiar with the process? I have been watching the job postings on TV website under careers, but haven't seen an opening for this position in the last 18 months. Do they recruit for these positions in some other manner?
Thank you so much for any assistance!

First you need to email your resume. If they lie it they will contact you. I use to be a sales rep. Call the office to get the email address.

The first thing would be to get your Real Estate License; then apply

I agree. And, I would also suggest that you talk with a few experienced Villages agents and do some networking.

I think you'll need to get your teeth whitened, get into the gym, botox and hair dyed to get yourself as attractive as possible. Next, work on the real estate license and your social network, and buy a really nice car for which you can tour your clients around in. Now you are on your way to working for them.

Nanette Tolson was our agent and did an awesome job. She has been there for several years. It couldn’t hurt to contact her for some advice

I would be happy to share with you all that I have come to know about selling Real Estate in The Villages. I am the Broker Owner of Saunders Realty Group LLC and have been in Real Estate for 35 years. I did a lot of research before moving here 3 years ago. I interviewed with TV and spoke to many agents before deciding what to do. TV offered me a sales position which I turned down. I hung my license with RE/Max and another company then decided that opening my own firm was what I wanted to do. I train new Realtors and only hire the ones who truly understand what is involved in this business. It takes a lot of time, dedication, and desire to serve others. So I spend a lot of time upfront with new agents so that they don't enter the business without knowing the truth. Most people who enter the business say that they "love homes and people," this is a great start but has very little to do with prospecting, negotiating, competition, working every day and riding the Market roller coaster, etc.
Fortunately, despite the fact that I was naive 35 years ago, this is a business that suits me well and I love it! I will gladly help anyone or talk with anyone about Real Estate or Decor ( my other passion) anytime.

Go to any Sales Center ask to speak with a manager. They can help you. Or, go to the Personnel Office for The Villages.

Not the OP, but I would love to speak with you. I’m going to send you a DM and hope to hear back from you.
