They have a lot of ground to cover in this series. Rather exciting so far but miss the characters from the previous series The Vikings.

Much enjoyed the first four seasons of Vikings (original series). It sort of degenerated after that into a soap opera (well, maybe a Wagnerian soap opera), still good but not as good as it was at first.

I still remember the scene from (I believe) season 2, when Ragnar, his former wife Lagertha, Bjiorn, Rollo, and a few other stalwarts were leaving for a raid on England. Boarding their ships, hair blowing in a strong wind coming down the fjord with the bluest sky and waves I can ever remember seeing, all done with no dialogue but just music by Wardruna, was unforgettable. Best scene of the series.

Lots of waves in this Season as Leif Erikson - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leif_Erikson) is the main character. His sister comes very close too as being extremely vital to the story. Freydis Eiriksdottir - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freyd%C3%ADs_Eir%C3%ADksd%C3%B3ttir)
