Turtle Mound

Played Turtle Mound yesterday and it is in the worse condition of any course I have played in The Villages. It should be shut down! The Tee boxes were horrible along with the greens and the sand in the sand traps was not even sand that should be used on a golf course. Don't waste your time playing this course. The Villages should not worry so much about the quantity of holes in The Villages but maybe the QUALITY of the holes available?

Don’t even think of it! I love Turtle Mound! It’s perfect for beginners. If you don’t like it go somewhere where you like the conditions.

I played it 1/13 and other than the 1st green it was fine. Sand was a little wet after the rain but dried quickly and was great to play out of. It's fun course to play. Beautiful setting.
