If it's Ocala National at Golden Hills you are asking about, recent reviews indicate that it is in pretty poor shape. Almost like they fired their groundskeeper. Too bad, since it is a nice, classic layout that has reasonable pricing.

We would play there 4 or 5 times a year when they ran specials, and it was always in great shape, and fun to play.The last time our group played there was a little over a year ago. The greens were just OK, but the rough was uncut and a foot or higher tall. If you weren't in the fairway (which weren't great, either), you either lost your ball, or spent too much time looking for it. We asked in the pro shop what was going on, and was told that their mowers were broken, and that they were having issues with getting parts. Guess the parts haven't come in.
