Probably. It's a cinch that not many Minnesotans are out there tanning in the buff when the ol' thermometer registers below zero.

Not unheard-of though. I've never heard of Avatan but not far from my home in (at the time) Central Minnesota there was a beach along one of the rivers colloquially called Barea$$ Beach. Officially it didn't exist but was sort of an open secret. Only the members were supposed to know where it was but it wasn't hard to figure out. Wasn't unheard-of on a hot July day that I'd jump into my Grumman, gain a couple of thousand feet in altitude, cut the throttle and glide down over the treeline so I wasn't directly over the clientele, then bank hard left while simultaneously pushing the throttle to full open, and watch them scatter.

There are no public clothing optional pools in The Villages. Plenty of private pools are used nude. We have a nudist group here as well, plus there are multiple nude resorts / campgrounds within a short drive from here.

For those who are ACTUALLY INTERESTED, go to the AANR website (American Association of Nude Recreation)…there you can find all the info you want on clubs/resorts in Florida and the rest of the US. Naturists are NOT perverts and we don’t care what you think about how we look or visa versa. That is NOT the point of naturism. We just don’t like clothes…especially bathing suits.
