Hi All, Wondering if anyone has used / had luck with one of the online care giver sites. It would save bucks. Would have to vet them obviously. It's a thought. Thanks everyone, or anyone.

I'm not sure what an "online care giver" site is, but I'd be very hesitant about trusting the well-being of a loved one to any organization OTHER than a well-established service provider, preferably one with with at least a decade of providing the type of services your loved one might need.

We only have experience with Right at Home and Trusted Home Care. The Villages & Wildwood Home Care | Right at Home | In Home Care for Seniors | Elder Care (https://www.rightathome.net/wildwood-the-villages?st-t=google_&vt-k=right%20at%20home&vt-mt=e&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIysTkwonQ_AIVrcyGCh2bmgl_EAAYASAA EgJt8vD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds)
Trusted Homecare Services | We Are Happy To Help (https://trustedhcs.com/)
For those two companies we have had very good people as well as not so good people. It varies. Do like Right at Home a lot more though than Trusted Homecare Services.

It's a challenging and stressful situation...I care for two 87 year old parents, and it's only going to get harder. My father fell recently and spent nearly two weeks in the hospital, followed up by out patient physical therapy and then some self-pay home health care.
Someone introduced me to Lisa Honke at MEET THE TEAM - Your Key To Senior Living Options (https://yourkeytoseniorlivingoptions.com/meet-the-team/) , she spent a lot of time educating and informing me about options, and when she didn't know the answers or couldn't help, she usually found someone who could. Her services are free, so give her a call, absolutely nothing to lose, and she really is a wealth of knowledge about health care / senior living options in this area.

We used this group when researching care for my parents in and around the Villages-- Tri County Caregiver Resource Center. 403 Forbidden (https://www.tricountycaregiverresourcecenter.org/caregiver-resource-center)

They did charge for the services though but helped my older brother with a lot of practical problems.
