I bought a flexible hose and it doesn’t work on any of the outside faucets. It seems the water pressure is not strong enough to expand the hose. The hose just backs up. Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't have a flexible hose but my water pressure is quite strong. We have nearly 70psi in the Hillsborough area.

Very strange. Are you sure the hose isn't restricted by something? I would buy a pressure gauge from Amazon for 10 dollars. Just screw it on to an outside faucet and measure your water pressure. My pressure is 60 psi.

If it’s a flat flexible hose, it needs to be rolled out first. Then water can pass thru. If it’s tubular shaped and flexible…..but does not work, you might have blockage some where.

The hose needs to have what ever you put on the user end turned off for the hose to expand when you turn on the water at the home side. If you are just trying to run water through the hose it will not expand.
