This is a reality check.
We are planning to repaint the outside of our home as well as put on a new roof (we probably have about 2 years left in the current roof).
We are told you should do the roof first, then paint.
Your input would be welcomed.
Many thanks.

Makes no sense to me, I cannot see how the order would make any difference.

Roof, then paint.
I’ve seen siding and downspouts damaged from roofers.

I would do the roof first, then paint.. sometimes roofers will scuff the outside when old shingles are being removed.

Before I did anything I would check with the ARC to find out if I needed its approval to do either project.

My roofers were pretty careful but they still managed to scuff up the garage door when they were dropping old shingles into the dumpster.
I'd do the roof first and the paint after.
Good Luck!
