but the post listings are all screwed up with mixed dates presentation of threads.

Perhaps it is just mine, if so what do I do?

Go to the main page of General Discussion (that's where you find them all screwed up) and click on "Last Post". It should resort them.

BUT Last Post must be clicked every time I enter a section. In other words, clicking Last Post does NOT permanently correct the sorting problem.

Same problem. And yes last post has to be checked for each topic.

I tried it on several of the forums and still get the mixed bag.
How does one notify the admin?
I would have thought they would have seen this thread during thier scan process?

Since we changed the clocks I have noted (and mentioned in a previous post) that the time of a post is off by an hour. For example, a recent post about Christmas says it was posted at 5:53. Except right now it's 4:55ish. But then somehow it miraculously changes. I don't understand so now I just ignore the time.

A-ha. Now I look and it says 4:53.

Do you mean the thread that is "The Villages. No thanks!"?

I'm confused about what's not working. Whatever I click on seems to be sorted correctly-- I think.

On my computer if I click on The Villages, General Discussion the list of threads that come up are all out of order. Some are from 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 all mixed up.

Mixed up on my computer also.
But, normally I just go to Talk of The Villages main page and select "New Posts" and that gives me everything I haven't read yet. :mornincoffee:

Of course, unless one figures out a workaround to the problem, one might not come across this thread to learn what the workaround is...makes my hair hurt.

It's a holiday weekend, give them a break. I'm sure our administrators will fix this when they get back.
Whoops, as of 9am Sunday looks like it's already fixed. Thanks, guys.

I had the same difficulty yesterday. And like so many problems, it solved itself. Today, everything works the way it used to work. The sort order selected "stuck" and doesn't require a new sort everytime you come back to the thread. There was a full moon this weekend!

10-4. As others have also indicated, the problem I was experiencing has been fixed.
