The linguine spined, special interest, no guts politicians once again yielding to the %**^%^&ing of the few and walking all over the rights of the majority.

Let's hope the majority will rise in Philadelphia and go after the spineless.
I wish I could be there to have helped impede the taking down of the sign. I say help...it was obviously OK with those standing by watching.
Yes, I would have tried to raise enough hell to get somebodies attention.

Once again those in power are not listening to the will of the people.

Yes it is a very big deal to me when the special interest groups have the attention of the politicians and all the other sucksters afraid to stand and be counted.

I've had linguine with more firmness than was on display in that article.

I will not spend my Christmas budget anywhere that censors Christmas.

And that's the truth!

it's too bad that ben stein wasn't the managing director instead of richard negrin!

Don't get me wrong - I'm all for being inclusive.. But my hot-button is double-standards.

In the article, the guy said there were people who were actually *insulted* by the word Christmas. So when will I read of the first multi-cultural display that includes Hannukah or, to be more inflammatory, Kwanzaa and have a Christian say THEY are 'offended' and have the 'offending' material removed.

If I'm the director and I want to be more inclusive, I *might* replace the banner over the entrance with the words "Holiday Village" and label individual display according to what holiday they're themed to. At least that's what I'd *consider*.

:rant-rave:I'm just waiting for someone to go after Thanksgiving next.

Betcha those same ones take their Christmas vacation from work without objection.

They don't want to live in a dictatorship, but they sure want to be the dictators.

without any problems. It is only in recent years with the advent of special interest groups rising, nurtured by a permissive pacifism culture, malaise of the masses and of course the all time favorite of not doing what is right...political correctness.

Just like we the people did for the most recent election, the silent majority needs to get off the couch and do something about our heritages that are one by one being dismissed.

That is why the minority always wins....the majority allows it!!

AMEN BTK !!

The majority just sit on their fat butts and as long as it does not touch their lives they just dont care. They dont get involved...they dont want to know...they read only headlines...they know only what they are told and do not take any time to check into things.

If it were a car they were buying, they would spend hours on the internet..check all models...take nobodies word for anything. But electing somebody to run their country is a chore left to whatever their party or choice of new outlets CHOOSE to tell them.
