We have a 2/2 Patio Villa- a MOONSTONE. It is a pretty basic house so there is a minimum of closets and storage. I'm hoping to start a thread in which people who own 2/2 Villas will share ideas and photos of Tips, Tricks, Decorating Ideas that maximize space, Storage Ideas, as well as Modifications you have done- and Company Recommendations. (Include Model name of your home)

We have a colony with washer, dryer inside. We put cabinets above the washer/ dryer. We also put wire shelving on both sides of the garage. (do not block hot water heater). From the wire shelves I can also hang garment bags filled with crafts and other holiday decorations.

I have a new Topaz - decent size two-car garage - will be putting in built-in cabinets along one side / Adding cabinets atop of washer/dryer in closet / putting shelving in guest bedroom closet / re-working the huge walk-in master closet - will have upper and lower rods to double the space for hanging clothes. / Also, to increase storage for tableware, purchased a very large buffet, to go up against wall in dining area.

Great thread idea! We are closing in our patio villa in 3 weeks. Looking forward to more ideas, especially on interior decor

When you say 'Cabinets' in the laundry room do you mean a standard kitchen-type, or one that is 6 or 8 inches deep?... like this https://imgprd19.hobbylobby.com/e/e8/f1/ee8f170d10a87cedcee6e1e7ab7810b33c0f131b/350Wx350H-1459767-0521-px.jpg

They match the kitchen cabinets.

We put wire shelving on the door of the pantry in kitchen. In our villa the shelving in the pantry does not fill the whole space. Our neighbor took out that shelving and replaced with full shelving. Used the old shelving somewhere else.

Wow! That's great. Certainly maximizes space.
