I hired a landscaper (not my regular grass cutting guy) to add some river rock and plants to my already existing front yard. The breakdown was pretty detailed with charges for things like river rock, plants, border, cloth, pins, weed barrier, decorative planters, etc. Two additional charges Prep space, dig border and such. 1/2 the price was on the material and 1/2 on labor. Sub Total xxxx, 6% tax on full sub total.
I found this: Is landscape labor taxable in Florida?
If the lawn care service does landscaping, such as planting trees, bushes, and flowers, it is performing a real property contract and should not charge tax to the customer.
