I want to get my 90 year old mother, who lives independently in The Villages, a "Life Alert" type device. Can anyone who is currently using an medical alert service in The Villages please provide advice/referral?
TIA

Apple Watch works well without a big subscription, maybe $5 or $10.
It is especially good for fall protection.

We got my 97 year old dad a medic alert, which he leaves on the kitchen counter. If you get your mother something like that, make sure she’s going to use it.

At that age they don't understand technology, call life alert to get info. It's about 10 dollars per month and 2 way voice for the loved one.
It is simple and that worked well for my dad, he was hesitant at first but it worked well.

What happens if they fall and pass out and are unable to communicate this is where the Apple Watch excels it will detect a fall and call 911 immediately.
The Apple Watch is not rocket science, it's no different than charging a phone and putting on like any other watch. Easy Peasy.
