1928 was better than Yellowstone

It certainly covers a lot more history and geography.

Pretty good series, but it looks like Costner wants to only work for one week when they start taping the next season.

I live for the show. The story, the scenery, the characters and the world class horses.

GREAT series. Love it.... Matter of fact, the other 2 related to Yellowstone are very good!

Occasionally a murderous main character works. Examples: The Godfather and Peaky Blinders.

This murderer (Costner) as a main character did not work here. He did not have enough personality and was not interesting enough. I quit after about 5 episodes.

The daughter was an especially obnoxious character. I realize they want to say it's because of a bad childhood, but I do not think she is realistic in the various manners in which she is strange.

Have seen every episode of Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923. Thoroughly enjoyed each one very much, Taylor Sheridan is an awesome producer and knows how to create something special. Tulsa King was great as well. Lioness is next.

Have seen everything so far. IMO, 1923 absolutely is Non-relevant with horrible casting.i.e. Harrison Ford, so many other options there.
1883 was spectacular!

We've thoroughly enjoyed Yellowstone and all the spin-offs to date. Sheridan is on a roll, including non-Yellowstone hits "Tulsa King" and "Mayor of Kingstown" (major F-bomb warning for Mayor).

Great show ... second that on Jamie. The minor characters, especially the older cowboy Lloyd, are great.

Yeah the daughter Beth was different alright.

The one thing I didn't like about any of the three series was they all
left you up in the air, not like a movie.

I guess that's how they get you to watch the future shows and waiting for months..

Love it. I couldn't remember where I had seen Kelly Reilly (Beth) before. A little research later, she was a main character in a Brit crime series that I enjoyed, Above Suspicion.

Love Yellowstone, but like the two spinoff shows even more: 1882 and 1923 - both are very good. Have fun binge watching!

Beth's (Kelly Reilly) last name should be Morse, she would put the fear in some people around TV.

Good show, how they get away with all the murders is beyond me.

And dropping the "F" bomb every time they speak.
In real life I guess on a ranch/farm that's how they talked.

Also check out Hell or High Water written by Taylor Sheridan with great roles from Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine and Ben Foster!

Have seen thru season 4 outstanding. Hoping it will come back to Prime but if not will have to go to another streaming service when they finally finish season 5.

I haven't seen it or any of the prequels, but my people were homesteaders and that's not how they talked. That's how people talk today. Their speech of that day was more refined.

Really "wanted" to like it, but just couldn't find a means to relate to the "good guys" being allowed to selectively kill folks off (and thereabouts) who would not have been given death sentences were their offenses been logically adjudicated. Just ain't never been all that good at suspending disbelief nor granting "poetic/literary" license for such capers. I suppose that sort of thing, though, is what allows shows of such a genre to become "hits".

Beth and me, however, would likely get on royally. Rip who?? :-)
