It depends on how good you are and how far you hit your clubs. The holes range from about 50 yards to 100 yards. I have seen people tee off using drivers and I have seen people tee off using wedges. I usually will use four clubs - a nine iron, a pitching wedge, a sand wedge, and a putter.

Back when I was able to play, I often took 7, 9 and putter. That was all I needed for P&P.
Have fun!

Depends upon your skill level. For me two clubs pitch(gap wedge) and putt(putter)

I noticed there was very few sand traps, so was going to drop the sand wedge…

Sand wedges are not only for the sand! When I first started playing, I only used it for bunkers. But I later learned that you can - and should - use it from the fairway, the rough, or a tee. If you hit your sand wedge 80 yards and you have an 80 yard tee shot, are you going to take a 3/4 swing with your pitching wedge?

Just take your full bag of irons and experiment on your first round.

It's a great opportunity to practice with one club a 5 iron, a 7 iron, or a gap wedge, and get creative with your shot making

If you're a beginner, take a putter and a driver. If you're experienced, take a putter and a Pitching wedge.

When you go to Marsh Bend for the first time they have pull carts... So take your entire bag!

Then when you get used to the yardage, You can throttle down to just a few clubs... They also have this mini carry bags as well.
