Does Sumter, Lake and/or Marion County have a program to check/call daily on people living alone?

Community Watch has a program where they will call you at a specific time every day. You set the program up and have a neighbor listed as a "key holder". I think they call 3 times around that specified time and if the person doesn't answer the door, they call the key holder to go over. If the key holder isn't available, they send someone from Community Watch out to the house to check. If the person doesn't answer then I think their procedure is to call police and emergency squad.
It isn't a perfect system, but it does help. A lady in our neighborhood used it and it helped save her from a couple of issues.

This is from the Villages Community Development District, not the counties.
Adult Watch Program
The Adult Watch Program is a service provided to residents who live alone, or have a partner that needs someone to call them for a well-being check. Residents choose the time of the call, as well as how many calls a week they would like. The Community Watch Communications Center will call, if there is no answer, they wait 5 minutes and call again. If still no answer, dispatch will send out a patrol driver to check on the resident. At the same time local hospitals will be checked to see if the resident has been admitted. If not a patient, and if the patrol driver is not able to locate the resident. Dispatch will contact key holders or friends listed, to see if they know where the resident is. If not, The Villages Public Safety Department and/or law enforcement, will be notified. To sign up, please visit the Customer Service Office at 984 Old Mill Run in Lake Sumter Landing or the Customer Service Satellite Office at 4856 South Morse Boulevard. There is no fee for this service. If you’d like to fill out the Registration Form prior to your visit, you can download it from the following link — https://districtgov.org/departments/Community-Watch/District%20Website%20Adult%20Watch%20Program%20App lication.pdf
