When I rent a car at Orlando airport, the price per day is pretty much the same whether I rent for 4 days or 4 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has found a reputable car rental agency near the airport that offers good discounts for longer-term rentals (e.g., a month or more)?

Off airport is usually cheaper, but in all the years wife and I rented we never got much of a discount for our 3-4 months rental.
We had regular updates for offers etc. and saved a lot of $$$ that way.
We used to take up offers and use the free cancel option if a better deal came along. Often with the same company.
Sometimes airlines offered a car rental discount if you flew with them, but that seems a thing of the past now.
Everyone seems to want to squeeze the last $ out if you nowadays.

Another option if needed for several months is to buy a lower cost older vehicle and sell it when not needed.
Turo and Renta Wreck could be other options.

Try searching for "car leasing". Rentals over one month are referred to as leases by some rental companies.

Try TURO, it's a rental business by private person but with all the safe guards built in.. It offers wide variety of options on types of cars and price point. Make sure to choose delivery location correctly ( Airport, public place or owner's home etc.. )
Cheers!

The closest car was $80 to deliver to Lake Sumter plus the daily fee.
I guess it's good for the airport but having it delivered would kill any savings.

Zipcar was a great program up north. It was one company that would store cars all over the city and you can instantly look up how close a Zipcar was and then jump in with an app and off you would go.
I don't think the demand is here for something like this.
