Our golf group played Havana, Kilamanjaro to Kenya Wednesday and found the course in great shape. Greens were near perfect, but maybe a little slow. There were a couple greens with small repair turf patches but otherwise green and lush. Fairways had ample grass, roughs still a little thin but we're in a drought right now. Overall, 100% improved from a couple months ago.

Glad to hear this. Love the golf here. Even though I am not a great golfer.

If the Developer would stop replacing the flowers at the round a bouts and postal centers, then maybe there would extra monies for better golf course upkeep!

I have played Havanna twice in the last 2 weeks. Crews have been working hard and it shows.

These areas are miniscule compared to the budget to maintain a golf course and, more importantly, developer only maintains the newer areas which are being developed.
Agree with the poster. Played Havana on 4/10 and he was spot on.

The Championship Golf Courses are independent and privately owned and have nothing to do with taxes, amenity fees or the CDD.
I'm at a loss why people keep trying to lump these things together.
