Villages Live Oak trimming procedure

I have a shared Villages Golf Course Live Oak branching out over my property. I understand I can trim my side to the property line, but what is the responsibility of the Villages to trim their half of the tree? What committee is responsible for the preservation and trimming on golf courses?

I have the same problem by Eisenhower rec. they could care less about your tree. They listen and look but do nothing.

I’m not sure there is any obligation to trim the tree any certain way on the golf course side. And as you said, you have the right to trim the portion of the tree that is over your property.

Just curious…what is the nature of the problem?

Trimming the tree branches above my lanai would eliminate potential storm damage, but the tree itself would not be aesthetic due to it being lopsided. My expectation is to have it an even trimmed canopy.
