LEONID & FRIENDS - APRIL 24 - THE SAVANNAH CENTER

With multiple sold-out U.S. tours under its belt and hundreds of thousands of fans around the world, Leonid & Friends continues to astound its global audience with its unique ability in capturing the spirit, musicality, and fire of American supergroup Chicago.
Leonid & Friends is comprised of a group of friends that got together as a contemporary jazz rock band playing cover songs by Chicago, replicating the band’s complete arrangements amazingly note-for-note.
Leonid’s goal was a studio project in dedication to Chicago under the motto “musicians for musicians”. Their first video went viral, but they really gained traction when Chicago itself published the video on its official website. They have since expanded their repertoire to include Earth, Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Ides of March, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, and Deep Purple, to name a few.

Great band, very disappointed we can’t be there for the show. These guys play Chicago as good as the originals. We have tickets. Serge, the lead singer is Ukrainian. He decided to stay in his homeland to fight in the war. I would imagine it might have been a little uncomfortable to travel with the band seeing as they are all or mostly Russian.

It'll be interesting to see if they found a new lead singer who can keep up.

Saw them in Mass. Yes they have a new lead singer. Many critics have commented that they do Chicago songs BETTER than Chicago- and I agree. They don't speak a word of English. Check out this Amazing cover of "25 or 6 to 4"

Seen them. The band is amazing. Note for note perfection. Close your eyes and your at a Chicago concert!
