When we finally get to TV, my husband jokes about getting a job as one of the fellows/ladies who stop you at the gates w stop sign paddles. He would make a great one as he is most outgoing and friendly. How do I get him signed up, lol.

Put in a job app at TV employment office. It is a very popular position, so be prepared to re-apply every three months.

Those jobs are actually through the Villages Community Development not The Villages developer.

Cool!

Where is min. waqge $8.25? These jobs are advertised as min. wage and pay $7.25. One does not do this solely for the money, you are an Ambassador and Village Hospitallity is your goal.

Minimum wage in FL is $7.25. Federal Min Wage is also $7.25. See link...

Please educate us all...what does being an Ambassador or a job at Village Hospitality get you??

The people at the gates are for the most part most gracious and helpful, but to be honest with you, other than the highlight of meeting newbies, the job (to me) would be B-O-R-I-I-N-G....especially 3rd shift.
