Candidate Obama referred to Bush's campaign in Afghanistan as ""just air-raiding villages and killing civilians." ?

Now the drone attacks have increased dramatically and expanded to Pakistan, Yemen and other places and the civilian casualties are going up and up.

Point is not the strategy but the continuing avalanche of evidence that this man does not tell the truth and even when circumstances force a change in position, he will NEVER admit it but blame someone else.

I, for one, and deeply concerned about our foreign relations...I know that many thought of Bush as a wild cowboy, but NEVER has anyone put us in such precarious positions with so many while we struggle with internal politics !

Wrong. Here's the actual quote:


"We've got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there."


He was in favor of increasing the troops to a level required to get the job done. You are accurate, though, in your statement about the increase in drone attacks.
