BTK, thanks for the video !!!
I will respond to your post in two ways.
First my opinion of our President was formed a number of years ago BEFORE he was even the candidate. A supporter of Secy Clinton in the primary, who I pretty much always disagree with, called him during the primary an "empty suit" and I agree with that estimation. His election with the makeup of the congress at the time of his election was what I called the "perfect storm".
I read BOTH of his autobiographies, along with a number of articles and journals on his life and career. He is a gifted orator (or actor) who is very smart. He could only be what he is...he could only lean far left if you read about his life and training so my feelings I suppose just get confirmed each day.
Secondly, that video so upset me that I have set upon either defending the President of simply saying he should be impeached or something. I would love to know who made the seating decisions at that ceremony..what the protocal is for that type of thing before making any accusations about him.
If anyone knows let me know...or where I might find that information.
I strongly suggest that you watch the video that BTK is sharing with us....it might make you want to know also !

At weddings, wakes, funerals, anniversay celebrations, Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, Christianings, at a bris...out of respect, consideration, recognition, the family sits in the front row or in a designated place.
When I witness things that seem rude or less than respectful, I always think to myself, "I was raised better than that." Maybe that can explain some things about this man who is our President.

Do you two actually believe that the President of the United States did the seating arrangements???? Wow! :loco:
And p.s. If you've ever attended a theater, you'd know that mid-center is better than front center. Easier on the neck.

Seriously?, you defend even this. A true Commander-In-Chief who respects and honors the men who rush into harm's way at his order would have made sure that the family of the soldier he was presenting the nation's highest honor would have a front row seat to witness it.
Sometimes, even his ardent supporters, have to admit that "Yeah, this was wrong". If this was not one of those times, nothing is.

sufficient insight to make a change. Instead he chose to continue his politics and related cronies first...EVERYTHING else is not even close to his attention. It is not OK even if someone else made the seating assignments.
Chelsea, you have stayed your man loyally in the face of many issues....but your PS is way out to lunch...more comfort as a defense to a stupid mistake/intention??????????
His agenda is consistently obvious in every deed every day.

Forget the seating arrangements....he should have made a bee-line straight to the families and soldiers as soon as the program ended. THAT is where HE erred.
