Who do you contact to ask that they adjust the timing of the sprinklers along the cart paths? There have been too many times coming or going when the sprinklers are spraying reclaimed water over the paths, into and on the carts in the early evening hours. Why can't they be timed to water later when there is minimal cart traffic?

You can't go wrong starting with Customer Service.

Water pressure and the number of available hours might play into the timing. You can't have every golf course watering at the same time. Perhaps they are starting as late as they can in order to get everything watered before morning.

Good way to get them to think about closing the course 30 minutes earlier - can you drive around the sprinkler heads?

Going up and down Buena Vista there are a number of sprinkler heads that need to be adjusted. If they don’t start early enough the might nit get everything watered. There are miles and miles of watering to do. We see it after 9 or 10 on many nights. Earlier in the week we did get blasted in the face which made for a colder ride home but we survived no problem.

Cart paths are on golf courses.

Cart paths are on golf courses. Some folks mistakenly call the MMPs "cart paths." I've been here 6 years and still call it "cart paths" when I am driving on it except in the morning when we are walk/running and then I call it "running paths." That being said I simply roll up my cart's windows and turn on the wipers and A/C when "carting" if being sprinkled on. :D :girlneener: :D

Big difference between cart path and mmp

One has eight letters and a space while the other has only three? One is an initialism that ought to be capitalized while the other is comprised of two words?

In usage around here, they are nearly synonymous.

As used in this thread, cart path appears to mean the blacktop paths.

All my drinking buddies at City Fire call MMP's cart paths.
After spending evening drinking, then having to drive home totally wasted, "Carpa" is so much easier to say than "Mulli Moall Par"
Cheers! :beer3:

Contact property management. Try to be specific remember exactly which head they do go through all of the heads on a regular basis but sometimes they mess up or one gets knocked out of whackContact property management. Because it’s inefficient. They are watering at the right times. You will either need to drive through it like the rest of us or take your car instead.

You know I think TV will tell you in a nice way that you got the privilege to live there & your not the mayor. Not trying to be mean but 1 person complaining won’t change their watering times. 100 people complaining might do it!

if you drove your car or bike past an open fire hydrant, someone with strong hands and a can, preferably schaefer ( it was the 60's) open at both ends would wash your car for you, windows up or down for you, no charge. Remembering the hilarious foot chases.

I always thought there could be an APP to report bad sprinkler heads.

You’re driving on an MMP, you see a sprinkler spurting into the air, you open app, mark the location and it’s reported.

The APP’s not commercially viable, so it would have to be villages developed.

good idea. An update to the village gps would work for that and other observations.

At the very least it’s a waste of water. I suggest using the App What3words for the ability to clearly pinpoint the location of issue.

It is so disrespectful to the residents of TV to operate the sprinkler systems in such a manner that we have to drive through them.
