You were lucky. Great photos! Where in the park did you see them? We did a hike there about 2 weeks ago and no monkeys. We entered the park from the other entrance (not the main one). The trails were very pleasant each with a beautiful view of Silver lake.

We recently saw the monkeys on a kayak paddle at the 4.5 mile marker downstream from the glass bottom boat tours. They are great fun to watch and the babies are really cute and playful...just don't get too close. The adults have some vicious looking teeth.
