Where is Judge Dredd when you heed him?

Same old, same old, nothing to see here. Move along, citizen. And pass the ammo.

It took me three days to get through Texas. It is a huge state with some areas which have very different outlooks on life. I went through Austin, El Paso, close to Houston and San Antonio in kind of a meandering journey back in 1996.

Does look now that the car crash was a deliberate act of rage.

Seems like I posted on another thread that VIOLENT people can come up with many ways to murder people besides using a gun. AGAIN, we have a violence and violent people problem in this country and until it is addressed it will only get worse.

I remember an incident years ago when I was a kid, a man drinking in a bar got his butt handed to him for acting like a jerk. He went down the street to a gas station and purchased a 5 gallon gas can and filled it with gasoline. Went back to the bar, stuck a cloth wick in the neck of the can and set it on fire, rolling it into the bar. It didn't blow up like a Molotov Coctail in a glass bottle and kill or injure anyone but it did burn down the building.

Texas has it covered. The governor has offered his thoughts and prayers to the murdered victims. That should take care of everything.

Seems like the current rash of violence in Texas, is a Texas problem - not a violence and violent people problem. You don't hear a whole lot about insane violent mass shootings in, for instance, Missouri. Or Arkansas. Or Wyoming, or New Hampshire. All of those states have lots of gun owners, the NRA are happy campers in those states. And I haven't heard a word about any of those states experiencing cars intentionally driving into people to kill them, in recent years. What do all those things in Texas have in common? Answer: Texas.

Believe those intentional crashes have recently involved trucks.

??? Have you been watching the news for the past 5 years? This is a people issue all over the country. Have you seen pics of Portland Oregon, 2500 businesses left the city, it’s all boarded up, from all the peaceful riots (????). How about all the crime in NYC? Pushing people in front of trains, hitting people just walking down the street with batts to rob them?
Until you start prosecuting these crimes it will continue to occur. The AG’s of these states are bought off and let these crimes slide

A thread on criminals and jail release landed me an infraction for political talk. This thread is infraction "clickbait" if you are for law and order or a thinker that leans right so we will just call this thread a one sided think tank for now and I'm gonna ZIP IT!!!

Texas has been threatening to secede from the union for years now.
May we should build a wall around it and move on.
