Missed the last 2 (high school and college) due to the pandemic and a conflict, probably will not go to future ones due to cost.

I've gone to most of them, next year is our 60th and I'll try to make it. Don't know how many of my classmates are still with us, can't be sure of myself being here a year from not either.

Went to my 10th, and that was it - lost contact with everyone from High School, except my cousin.

Went to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 55 HS. 60 (class of 1960) was scheduled during the pandemic and so was canceled. Our class maintains a FB site and some class members hold zoom meetings. After #55 I lost interest but maintain contact with a few. I enjoyed all the reunions so I kept returning to them as I reconnected with old friends and connected with some folks I did not know well. Our HS class had about 600 members.
Went to a couple college reunions when I was young. They included other classes and were not well attended.

Small H.S. Class of 92 graduates. Attended 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 45 and missed 50 with emergency bypass surgery. Made 60th! Lots of fun especially for those of us that live over 1000 miles away. A group of my classmates meet once a month and I’ve made that “party” three or four times over the years. I had four living in The Villages a few years ago. Only two now. Wife went to a different and larger H.S. We have attended four of her reunions. Again, great time. We graduated from the same large university. Attended some alumni gatherings over the years. We both left out home towns shortly after H.S. As they say, “different strokes for different folks”.

I went to my 15th high school reunion. Most of the women I knew in HS were married with several kids. Most of the men worked blue collar or had vague job titles like "manager" or "senior associate" at generic offices. That's all well and good but I really had nothing in common with them anymore, other than our shared high school education.
They asked me lots of questions about my life, seemed fascinated that I drove off after college to try and live in Canada because I liked it there and had to turn back because I didn't have a sponsor. They were befuddled that I was a street and subway musician for six years, it just didn't compute in their minds and they had no idea how to respond to it other than "oh cool" and "isn't it dirty in the subways?"
I left before the reunion finished and found out the following week that I was voted most improved, and that one guy had a crush on me since 4th grade but never made any attempt to get to know me better.
Disappointment, and a night that would've been better spent watching reruns of All in the Family.

Went to my 10th, 20th & 30th HS reunions. The 30th was a multi-year reunion. Never went to one for College... Big State school... Too impersonal...
At my 20th, a girl came up to me and confessed that she had a crush on me. I asked her "Why didn't you tell me? I spent waaay too many Saturday nights at home... I was terrified of asking girls out...
Once I got to college, I got better... :D
By my 50th HS reunion is coming up in 2 years. That one should be interesting...

I also learned that there were many really cute girls doing the same thing, since guys were too chicken to ask them out...

I went to my 25th college reunion and was appalled by how middle-aged everyone looked. I skipped my 50th high school reunion last fall, but I saw the photos and the official video interviews. They looked so old! Many I wouldn’t have recognized. Most I wouldn’t want to meet now. I find that I do much better these days making new friends in The Villages, as I didn’t know them when they were younger, so I’m used to how they look now. I have a handful of grade school and high school friends on Facebook, but I don’t see them in person. It’s easier to deal with at a distance. And I also look in the mirror as little as possible.

After organizing my high school’s 10th, 25th and 45th reunion I have opted out of anymore organizing. Perhaps I will attend any further but I’d rather travel to see my kids than classmates I only know through Facebook now. I still see those that were close friends and we try to get together while we still can.

Never went to a college reunion.
My hometown has an all classes reunion every 10 years. I went to one about 20 years ago, and I was the only person from my class to show up. A reunion of one person.

Such an interesting question for me ... like many replies, I went to my 10th, and then didn't go to another for many years. And I only have one "active" relationship with a high school friend. Now, at my more advanced age, I find myself sentimental for the old days. I go back to my home town frequently, because my mom still lives there. And last year I attended my 40th ... without my husband, who would have had a terrible time. And I had a wonderful time.
Seeing childhood friends I had not seen in ... well ... 40 years ... it was fantastic to hear about their lives / children and to talk of the old days ... and to see and be the adults we have become. The only disappointment was the many who I would have liked to see who didn't make it.

I come from a small HS in Indiana and our class was around 100 kids. We still have reunions every 5 years and is very well attended.
I have been and still am very involved in planning. We are Having our 50th next year and in addition to our reunion we are doing an Alaskan cruise next year for those who are interested.
So to answer your question… yes, I go and wouldn’t miss them for the world. 😊

I went to a small high school in Massachusetts in a graduating class of 60 in 1953. Missed reunion 10 and 20 because I was in the Army. Was able to attend 30, 40, 50 and 60 however. Each year people got older and fewer were left. Unfortunately, this year's 70th class reunion never will take place because there are very few of us left and many of them can't travel anyway. The nominal age of each of us is 88 years old, so that makes sense, although I was ready to go. Guess it's all over.

Never really wanted to go to one. High School had people I couldn't wait to get away from. The college and grad school friends I had, I stay in touch with. Would like to see some of the Profs, but there are few left.

I have been to all 10 year reunions, 10 - 50. I have missed a couple of the in-between reunions.(55). I am back visiting my families in Prairie Village, Kansas which is a suburb of Kansas City on the Kansas side, right where I grew up. I had lunch with two high school girlfriends yesterday and spent a morning with two other friends last week. I love that we have all kept in touch. My class had 667 in it's graduating class, so obviously I wasn't even acquainted with some of them, but I've gotten to know some of them better over the years.

Perspective, Man… That’s rather Hollywood thinking. I would joke about not going to reunions because everyone looked so old. But the beauty and soul in those lines and wrinkles! The lives those faces have lived are told there including the joys, heartaches, hopes, dashed dreams, loss, accomplishments, pain, humor and so forth. Graduated in 1966, have seen and enjoyed much and my stories are many. Looks fade but I had my days in the good times, it’s time for the younger generation to enjoy their prime. When I look in the mirror now, I’m satisfied with who I am and how I look.
I have probably gone to three class reunions and they were okay but looking backward isn’t real important to me.

Never went to one until 45 year as old girl friend insisted. Still the same cliqie, snobby, disrespectful group as in high school. I have changed 360 from that geeky, skinny kid and been told I have aged well. This group was old, fat, and acting the same way as high school. I slipped out and wished I never went. When the 50th arrived I was moving to TV, so thankfully I had to miss it. YAY!!

My wife and I graduated from the same high school and same class and we've been to all of the reunions our class has had every 5 years except for year 5 when I was in the military. We didn't go to the same college, though, and I like to go to my college's homecoming weekend which is like a reunion. It's a small, private college where we established some close relationships. Good to see them again while we can.

Well said and good perspective about living in the past. A person has to move on and not live in the past. That said, I do enjoy H.S. class reunions and how they usually surprise you about how some people really change after H.S. “You can’t stay young forever but you can be immature for the rest of your life”. It's best to do a 180. A 360 puts you back where you started.

As a matter of fact I am in Miami FL right now and got together with most of my classmates. Graduated in ‘66 from an all boys school. A class of 26 boys. We had a great time during a three hour lunch with promises of more of these.

High School in NYC, absolutely. Incredibly, many of my graduating classmates are still with us. Many of us still keep in touch on our private FB page. We are all getting ready for our 50th HS reunion in a few weeks. There are also several guys and gals I keep in touch with that I have known since we were kids in grade school together, still alive and kicking. College, not so much. Just some of my old frat brothers.

Yes back in 2019 I was fortunate enough to go to my high school 50th reunion and it was fantastic! Reconnected with a few friends, made some new ones too & spoke to some I’d never interacted with in HS. Even met up with several when we were both here in TV. Never regretted going & grateful to the committee who organised a great weekend.

Actually went to my 10th School reunion with believe it or not a bully that used to terrorize me every chance he got. Met up with him in a Mpls bar after getting out of the service. He said he regretted bullying me all through high school and suggested we go to class reunion 1986. Well I picked him up with my Corvette and we both got nametags at the door. We spent about 15 minutes there and that was enough. We met a couple of girls from Canada in the hotel bar and we partied hard with them. I don't remember much of the night after that, but the next morning I woke up to find my Corvette in the driveway almost sideways and when I started it up to pull it into garage(it was super loud). Somehow I managed to loose my whole exhaust system off the car. I called Kevin and he said he don't know how it happened. Best night that I can't remember! I have not attended a class reunion since.

I wouldn't have missed one intentionally, and have made all of them (five-year increments) over the past 62 years. The first 40 years were a continuation of reminiscing and embellished high jinks we were guilty of, and then years 45-60 were to pay homage to our classmates that had passed and to see which of the ones still around looked older than me (not many).
I hope to remain well enough to attend any future reunions that might be in the plans, but I know others who are becoming burned out from either attending them or being on the planning committees. I imagine I'll grow up one of these days, but my high school years were some of the best times in my life!

This is GOLD, and describes me exactly, lol, except I never attended any reunions. Once I graduated HS I was done. Moved on, never looked back. No regrets at almost 70.
